Haldi and mehndi at home, engagements, birthdays and hall functions across Mount Waverley, Clayton, Mulgrave and Notting Hill.
Mount Waverley and Clayton are about as close to home as it gets for us. Short drives mean earlier arrivals, a quick trip back for an extra piece if the plan changes, and the flexibility to fit a small at-home haldi around a bigger weekend booking.
The mix of events reflects the area: established family homes with space for a garden haldi, student and young-family households around Monash, and a community that books halls for engagements, poojas and milestone birthdays.
Garden or living-room set-ups with marigold backdrops, low seating and drop sheets for turmeric.
Couple's backdrop and seating for a hall or a large family home.
Full-room styling for Monash council halls, from 100-guest rooms to a 300-guest hall with a stage.
First birthdays through to milestone years, at home or in a hired room.
Entrance florals, a pooja backdrop and seating for guests.
Quick delivery of backdrops and props from our base nearby.
The City of Monash runs the halls most local families book. Mount Waverley Community Centre's Hall A on Miller Crescent seats up to about 120 with a commercial kitchen, which suits an engagement or a first birthday. Clayton Hall on Clayton Road is a much bigger room — up to around 300 people, with a performance stage — and works for larger sangeet nights and community functions.
Council checks every hire application and can add conditions for larger events, so it's worth booking the hall first and sending us the confirmed hours. We then plan a freestanding set-up that suits the room's size, with the stage or backdrop placed where guests will actually gather.
