Haldi, mehndi and sangeet, mandap ceremonies and receptions — one South-East Melbourne team styling the whole wedding weekend.
An Indian wedding in Melbourne is rarely one event. It's usually a haldi at home, a mehndi or sangeet night, the ceremony and a reception — often across three venues in three days. We're based in the South-East, and styling that whole run as one plan is what we do best: one palette, one team, and pieces that move and restyle between events instead of being hired three times.
Because we also style white weddings, we're comfortable when a weekend runs both traditions — a Hindu or Sikh ceremony in the morning and a Western-style reception at night is a brief we plan for, not one we improvise.
Marigold backdrop, low seating and turmeric-proof floor protection in a back yard or living room.
Colourful backdrops, low seating and a clear performance floor.
Freestanding mandaps dressed with florals and draping, sized to the venue's ceiling height.
Couple's stage, entry arch and aisle styling that reads from the back of a ballroom.
Entrance florals, welcome signage and a photo moment for arrivals.
Pieces moved and restyled overnight so one hire covers several events.
The South-East and eastern suburbs have some of Melbourne's best-known Indian wedding venues. Vogue Ballroom in Burwood East hosts Hindu and Sikh ceremonies for roughly 100 to 370 guests and works with families' own stylists. Royal Bamyan in Springvale South seats several hundred, and council halls such as Clayton Hall — around 300 people with a stage — suit sangeet nights and receptions on a tighter budget.
Every venue has its own rules on bump-in times, open flame for the havan, ceiling heights and what can be fixed where. We contact the coordinator directly, confirm those details, and design the mandap and stage to fit rather than discovering limits on the day.
Ask us about your event →Yes. Haldi, mehndi or sangeet, mandap ceremony and reception can be styled as one coordinated plan, with pieces restyled between events where the venues allow.
All of them — including Dandenong, Springvale, Keysborough, Clayton, Glen Waverley, Mount Waverley, Berwick, Narre Warren, Cranbourne and Clyde North. We're based in the South-East, so there's no travel surcharge.
Yes. We find out what the venue supplies and focus on what makes the day yours — usually the mandap, stage backdrop, entrance and ceremony details — rather than doubling up.
Yes. We style both traditions, so a mandap ceremony followed by a Western-style reception can share one palette and one team.
