We're based in Melbourne's South-East, which is where the largest share of our work happens — but we cover the whole metropolitan area, and there's no travel surcharge within it. A Diwali function in Tarneit and a mandap in Glen Waverley are the same job to us logistically; it's the venue's access window that shapes the day, not the postcode.
What does change by area is the kind of space we're working in. The outer South-East means larger homes and back yards, so more at-home styling. The western corridor means community centres and function halls, with tighter bump-in windows and same-night pack-downs. We plan for whichever applies to you.

Most venues are new to us at some point, and it's never a problem. We contact the venue's coordinator ourselves to confirm bump-in and bump-out times, ceiling heights, power, lift access and any supplier documentation they need — including our certificate of currency for public liability insurance.
That means you aren't relaying messages between your venue and your stylist in the fortnight before your event, which is the last thing anyone needs at that point.

For venues outside it, such as the Yarra Valley or Mornington Peninsula, a travel fee applies and we show it as a separate line on your quote rather than folding it into the styling cost.

Yes, and we do it often. Community centres and temples usually have tighter access windows and rules about what can be fixed to walls, and frequently require the space cleared the same night. We confirm all of that with the hall manager before the day.
