How do I book?
Submit an enquiry with your date, suburb/venue and items or look you’re after. We’ll confirm availability and send a quote. A booking is secured once the deposit and signed Hire Agreement are received.
When is payment due?
Final balance is due 14 days prior to your event date.
Do you require a bond?
Yes. A refundable bond applies to all hires and is held against accidental damage, loss and extra cleaning. If items return on time, clean and undamaged, the bond is refunded within 5 business days.
Do you deliver?
Full-service includes delivery, setup and pack-down. DIY hires are self-collect & return from Mount Waverley. Delivery fees may apply by distance/access/time.
What happens if something is damaged?
Please let us know ASAP. Repair/replacement or extra cleaning is deducted from your bond. If costs exceed the bond, the difference will be invoiced.
What is your cancellation policy?
  • More than 7 days before the event: 50% refund of hire fees paid.
  • Less than 48 hours before the event: no refund.
Booking deposits are non-refundable once the date is secured.
Can we modify or DIY-alter items?
No drilling, painting, gluing or permanent alterations. If you need to attach signage or florals, ask us for approved methods first.
Do you have public liability insurance?
Yes—Gather n Grace (ABN 42 931 253 013) holds Public & Products Liability insurance. This covers our operations, not guest-caused damage or misuse.
What access do you need for setup?
Confirmed bump-in/out times, parking/loading details, and any venue restrictions (ladders, hanging points, open flame rules). Please ensure the area is clear on arrival.
Outdoor setups — what if it rains or it’s windy?
Some items are indoor-only. For outdoor events, a wet/wind-weather backup is essential. We may decline installation if conditions are unsafe or risk damage.
How soon should I book?
As early as possible—peak dates book fast. Still feel free to enquire for last-minute availability.
