Gather n Grace (ABN 42 931 253 013) is a Melbourne event styling and décor hire business. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean Gather n Grace, and "you" means anyone who visits gatherngrace.com.au or contacts us.

We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

We only collect what we need to answer your enquiry and deliver your event. That is usually:

• Your name, phone number and email address
• Your event date, venue or suburb, and approximate guest numbers
• What you're planning and any images or references you send us
• Billing details where a booking proceeds

We do not collect sensitive information, and we never ask for card details by email or message.

How our enquiry form works

This is worth understanding, because our contact form works differently to most. Nothing you type into it is stored on this website or sent to a database. When you press Send via WhatsApp or Send via Email, your browser opens WhatsApp or your own email application with the message pre-filled, and you send it.

That means your enquiry travels through WhatsApp (operated by Meta) or your own email provider, subject to their privacy policies rather than ours. If you close the app without sending, we never receive anything at all.

How we use your information

To reply to your enquiry, prepare a quote, plan and deliver your event, issue invoices, and keep records we're required to keep for tax purposes.

We do not sell your information, and we do not add you to a marketing list without you asking us to.

Photographs of your event

We often photograph our own set-ups, usually before guests arrive, and may use those images on our website, in our hire catalogue or on social media.

These are photographs of décor, not of people. If you would prefer we didn't photograph your set-up at all, tell us before the day and we won't. If an image has already been published and you'd like it removed, email us and we'll take it down.

Who we share information with

Only where it's needed to run your event or the website:

• Your venue — where they require supplier details, insurance certificates or bump-in information
• Contractors we engage to help install or pack down a set-up
• Service providers that operate parts of this website (see cookies below)
• Where the law requires it
